We can help you update your Pastel Accounting & Payroll software so that you have access to the latest features and fixes.

Sage 50c Pastel Xpress / Partner Accounting (version 19.4.7)

  • Resolved error where system blocks users without bank manager access from accessing the module.
  • Resolved the issue where users received an "incorrect password" message despite entering the correct password.
  • Corrected the column order in the Sales Journal. The system now displays Exclusive and Inclusive values in the correct positions.
  • Resolved an issue where the Sales by Customer report exports data into incorrect Excel columns.
  • Corrected an error that caused the system to reject invoices with negative amounts during import due to a negative total validation. The system now allows valid invoices with positive totals.
  • Reversed the VAT 15.5% increase, withdrew the preparation message and removed the activation date.
  • View-only companies restrict all users to the View menu only
  • Transactable companies function normally, with user-level permissions applied as before.


Pervasive Version 13


Actian (the company that provides and develops Pervasive) no longer supports earlier Pervasive versions. Sage are therefore encouraging all of their clients to upgrade to Pervasive version 13.

  • Pastel tables update faster and more reliably
  • File structure less prone to corruption than previous versions

Your annual licence fee includes upgrades to the latest versions. Although the software is free, we will charge for time to upgrade your version. There may be a minimal charge to upgrade the Pervasive version.

We are running the following campaigns until 31 March 2025.

  • 10% off all module, user or Pervasive upgrades.
  • Sign up on a Sage50 Tier Flex Monthly subscription in February and your first debit order will only run in April.
  • Sign up in March and have the first debit order go off in May.
